Photographer Alex Kent spent some time today in Warrington Township, a suburb of Philadelphia in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. What we saw was a divided city. Signs reading “Communist” and “Fascist” are plastered on the streets, representing two competing stories of America.

As a contentious election season finally draws to a close, we see desperate pleas from this small community, with people of all political persuasions pushing their message forward before time runs out. . It’s still too early to say where the state will land. But whatever the outcome, we know that it may be difficult to repair the divisions created along the way.
