When pop star Taylor Swift makes a public appearance, she always has a sizable security detail to handle the large crowd she typically commands.
It’s no different when she attends Kansas City Chiefs games at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
From the time Swift enters the stadium until she reaches the Kelce family suite, she’s followed surrounded by security guards and photographers.
And for the select group of fans that are fortunate enough to have tickets for the seats near Swift’s suite, there is a strict set of rules they must comply with according to one fan who attended the Chiefs’ Week 16 game against the Houston Texans.
TikTok user Carley posted a video to her account explaining the special rules fans are required to follow when sitting near the 14-time Grammy winner, which include a ticket re-check by Swift’s security detail, and fans aren’t allowed to ask her for photos or autographs, and they’re not allowed to pass anything to her through the window of the suite.
But despite all of the “Swift rules,” Carley did state she was allowed to interact with Swift during the game.
“Yes, I did get to talk to her, which was a very unforgettable experience,” she said. “It was a very short interaction but I’ll never forget it. … We also had a couple micro-interactions with her throughout the game because she’s really just like a fan when she’s there, which is so cool. … It was cool to have those human interactions with her like you would any other Chiefs fan.”

According to Carley, Swift migrates to the back of the suite while the Chiefs are on defense and moves back to the front of the suite when Kelce is front-and-center and the Chiefs are back on offense.
But because the windows in the suite are open for the entire game, fans are allowed to speak with the pop superstar and security seemingly eases up once the game gets underway.
“[Security] wasn’t super tight or aggressive or anything like that,” Carley added. “There were no bodyguards or anything in the stands. I’m sure there was someone in the suite but it was not anything crazy.”
Kelce confirmed this week that Swift will be in attendance for Saturday’s divisional-round matchup against the Texans.
